Today I celebrated my 20-years birthday for the fourth time. Well, thats how it is when I live in another country. My mum's sister and her family, which lives in Switzerland, came today as well, so it was quite a nice reunion. It is Little Christmas Eve today as well, I can't believe how the time has flown by the last days. It also means that we can celebrate the best of all holidays tomorrow. The mood on this day is just incredible, and I love the gathering of the whole family!

Now it's time for a little trip to the city and do the rest of the Christmas shopping. My mum has renovated our living room since last time I was home, so we are gonna go together and find the last small details to make the result perfect. It's always nice going to the city when I'm here, it's not like I can just get dressed and walk out surrounded by shops. But thats exactly what I love about traveling between the two places. They are contrasts of each other, which gives me the opportunity to have two totally different lifestyles. And I appreciate it more the older I get.

I'm trying to spend my last hours in NY with enjoyment and fun, while trying to squeeze in doing the last errands. I still haven't started packing, which soon starts to be really bad. Well, I'll have time for it tomorrow..(hopefully). I can't tell how excited I am to go home right now! Especially because I have a lot of surprises to give to the people back home. Can't wait to tell them. At the moment I'm wrapped up in my new cape, because it is so cold. I'm totally in love with it, so I guess thats the true reason for wearing it. Probably see you in Norway next, if I don't have time to blog tomorrow

Macaroons are one of the cutest things that exist! I don't know exactly what it is about them, but they give the feeling of something chic, romantic, feminine, and loving. I guess it is the lovely colors, and of course the taste. If you never tasted macaroons, that should be on top of your tomorrow's "to do list". And it is the perfect gift for someone you love, I can assure you it will make the receiver really happy. I would not mind getting a box for Christmas...
